Phase 5: Prepare the Instructional Environment
Although, most of this unit will take place in the computer lab we will use technology in the classroom on Day 1 and Day 5. On those days we will use the LCD projector that is connected to the teacher’s computer to create a web in Kidspiration. We will also utilize the ELMO projector to display student work.
We will also need to make sure each computer has Kidspiration software on it and is hooked up to a working printer. We will use the projector in the computer lab to remind students daily how to access the appropriate sites and locate the Kidspiration icon on the desktop.
